AGALLOCH Bassist Launches SELF SPILLER

August 13, 2009

AGALLOCH bassist Jason Walton has just unleashed his newest project, which he has been working on for the past five years. Dubbed SELF SPILLER, the experimental black metal outfit's debut album is currently being recorded and mixed at Walton's Audio Savant Studios for a late 2009 release via Vendlus Records.

SELF SPILLER's forthcoming CD will feature guest appearances by a number of other musicians, including Don Anderson (AGALLOCH, SCULPTURED),Rob Kleiner (TUB RING),Marius Sjoli (INDELIBLE) and Robert Osgood (HOLLOW BRANCHES).

A rough-mix version of the song "Therefore I Worhip" is available for streaming on the SELF SPILLERMySpace page.

Commented Walton: "Here I am, after five years of hard work, introspection, and life upheaval, as well as two albums' worth of material scrapped, introducing SELF SPILLER; the project I have always tried to assemble, and always failed, the album I have always wanted to write, but never knew how."

AGALLOCH's next studio album is expected to be recorded and released by this time next year.
